Yes, me too. I will miss her very much-although we already kind-of went through a 'retirement' absence last year, didn't we?! I too thought she had retired prematurely, so was glad when she reached this decision herself many months later. And her initial results, particularly on grass, were promising. It's disappointing that that is finally it for Elena, but what a great three years she had from 2009, ending three successive years well inside the top hundred, and 2011 in the top fifty. Her tenacity and drive were second to none. So yes, definitely the #1 Brit for me too!!!
