Slowly breaking news:Olga out?
In GM there is a threat claiming Lena is no long working with Olga.
Does anybody have any info on this?
Very mixed emotions--Olga did a lot for Lena, but somebody has to take our beloved to that next level and win her a Grand Slam. If she's made the break, let's hope she makes a good decision.

Unfortunately, it seems true. Many people presented today at the FedCup tie press-conference heard Lena confirmed it by herself

I'm sorry to hear it. But maybe it will work out best for them both. Lena is a better player thanks to Olga, but maybe Olga has really done all she can. Hopefully Lena will find the coach who can move her into the top 3 or 4, and Olga will find another young player to mentor and turn into a Top 10 player. They both seem like great people, so I hope the parting was a good one.

I hope this change works out for the best for Lena.
I hope Olga can continue to have success with another player.

I couldn't believe it myself when I read it. They separated so quietly.
But that paper is a good one, so I doubt they'd create quotes.

I think they had talked about it earlier...
They must think it didn't work out well for both of them.
I mean not only Lena... but also Olga.
Olga might think if Lena couldn't improve her results in '05, it'd be better to separate.
I'm quite sure Olga will get a new student soon!
She's too good not to.
But Lena
I dunno if she will hire another coach.
Lena has so much to improve.
Mommy Vera must make the decision....as always

Hmm.. I don't know what to make of this news; but I trust Mommy Vera's
instincts. She unlike some stubborn family members of other players
that refuse to get different tennis advice, is open to new ideas.

Well lets all thank Olga for what shes done ,she moved Lena to the next step...
Lena did seem to have reached a Plateau tho ,so this could well be for the best ,sometimes you need a new coach to push forward and improve more!!
Lets see what the next 12 months brings , and once again ,thank you Olga for all your hard work!!

Perhaps Elena has learnt all she can from Olga... as others have pointed out, her results have levelled out this year, although that isn't such a bad thing.
But if she improves, then we know its the right decision.

Well, Olga did a lot for Lena.
But maybe it was time to change.
