Re: Sabine's Asian/European Autumn 2013

obviously she wants top play osaka if she plays that good in tokyo/bejing that she has a chance for the yec...she's still aiming for the yec...

but that means she wont play linz with some german fans and which is televised by eurosport

Re: Sabine's Asian/European Autumn 2013

Odd that she's playing Osaka, makes the schedule a bit unbalanced with Luxembourg tacked onto the end. She's more likely to go deep with it being an international, in which case she'd no doubt be useless in Luxembourg, arriving late. Maybe she's trying to lay groundwork for next year's edition, with the YEC moving to Singapore then? Wouldn't have any bearing on this year, whether she makes it or not.

Re: Sabine's Asian/European Autumn 2013

Four straight hard court tournaments can be tough on the body, especially if she plays deep into them. But it's good she has signed up for all four tournaments because it is easier to withdraw at the last minute than to sign up at the last minute which would require a wild card. She will have some insurance if she gets bounced early from the earlier tournaments.

Therefore she needs one MM title. Why not? She mostly won the matches she has to.

I've no overview about who is qualified for Sofia but for example players like Barthel, Halep, Meusburger, Hantuchova have already been winning some MMs. So they could be happy if Bine will playing there.

Barthel has won a Premier tournament, not a MM.

Really? That's not logical cause Barthel isn't qualified for anything else. Weird. So somebody gets punished if she's won a higher ranked tournament.

What

Sofia is for MM champs, not a 2nd price tournament for the girls that didn't made it into istanbul.
Barthel isn't qualified because only internationals count for this.
