So many chances thrown away in the match... too many nerves at key moments, likely. 40-15 and couldn't hold at 5-5 in 2nd... then up 15-40 down 5-6... only for Wozniacki to hold. Shame, but hopefully it's a sign that she's getting back to her old self again.

She won more games then New Haven, so it's an improvement nonetheless. Who knows what could have happened if she had won a tiebreaker in the 2nd set. I still hope her confidence is beaming from that McHale match. It will be interesting to see if McHale announces an injury soon, because if she doesn't and it really was a great comeback from Petra, that can't be anything but good news.

Petra is the #6 seed in Barcelona, but she got Shahar Peer in the opening round. Shahar has a 2:0 h2h against her.

BTW, Petra is just about to join the $1m club.

Petra won first set 6:1 against Peer, she was serving for the match and was 30:15 up but was broken.
5:4 30:15 asked for her coach but 5:7

Petra has a bit of a choking problem unfortunately. This match was kind of like that Li Na match in New Haven. Won first set comfortably and then back and forth with throwing a match or winning and then deciding to win it. I'm glad she won it though because alot thought Peer was going to take advantage of an easy first round draw.
