Rita Grande

I just read on www.federtennis.it the following interview...

RITA GRANDE
"Torno a giocare

for non-italians, basically Rita is saying that she is coming back, that she could not have an operation at her elbow because it is not worth it, it would not change her situation, she took a break just to rest, but that she wants to give tennis another try. She is convinced that she can still be a top 100 if the injury does not bother her, and she would like to play for another 2 years at least. But she is also saying that if her injury keeps bothering her she will stop immediately... her exact words are "tennis is my life, but if my elbow will not allow me to play at the standard I am used to, I will retire" GOOD LUCK IN YOUR COME BACK RITA !!!!!

We love Rita
She is really really determined to come back but she's not played for such a long time it's going to be tough, I hope she makes it back for the clay court season.
She will have an injury protected ranking.
