Main draw key issues

I've got some questions regarding the main draw. I'll be happy if someone answers any of them.

1. Actual seed list.
It's clear that Davenport will be seeded first. But who will be second: Sharapova or Mauresmo?

2. Who will face Lindsay in the semi-final, 3-rd or 4-th seed?

3. Who will replace Capriati in the main draw?

4. Will Clijsters and Danilidou be seeded or not?

Why would Sharapova be 2nd seed? Just see the WTA ranking. She is behind Mauresmo.

1) Mauresmo

2) 3rd seed Maria Sharapova, unfortunately.

3)Elena Bovina, other seeds in her 1/8 include Martinez, Suarez, and, Medina Garrigues. I would have killed to see a Capriati vs Martinez match.

4) Danillidou: no, in Indian Wells, seeds are most likely all inside top 50.
Clijsters: no, she never intended to wait for SR to take effect.
