Re: The Everlasting Eva Birnerova Thread
Well done Eva, she keeps surprising me, because I thought she'd lose both of her matches and she came out on top. Nice.

Re: The Everlasting Eva Birnerova Thread
Eva lost to Amelie
Nice try but no cigar.
Hopefully Eva can continue this fine new found form on to Ortisei where I expect her to not give up her title defense without a fight.

Re: The Everlasting Eva Birnerova Thread
Hey everyone
Just back from down under I wanted to renew my little reports to keep you informed whwtas going on. After a good preparation in Auckland I was reaklly down seeing myself lose first rounds in Auckland and Hobart in doubles and sincles. Not really confident but still knowing that I'm on the right track we made our way to Melbourne. And it should become my best Grand Slam result so far - winning to Sucha in 1st and Schruff in 2nd round, just stopped by some lady called Mauresmo ) With a new career ranking in the top 60 and not so many points to defend in the first half of the year I'm looking forward to the next tournaments.
All the best
Evi

Re: The Everlasting Eva Birnerova Thread
She lost to Bychkova 63 16 76 (1)
Good try Eva. Saved triple match point at 5-4 down, but run out of gas in the TB.
