Fantastic! Lisicki played great at the beginning, but she seemed almost too loose, and when the going got tough, she apparently lacked focus. Kata played superb. If anyone has footage of the awards ceremony, please post. BBC cut away after the final point.

 After their almost choke in QFs they countiniued with two outstanding victories and first grand slam doubles title for them.  So happy.  And Kata is really in superb form.

I considered Peschke the weakest partner among the Sugiyama/Safina/Asagoe/Peschke party, but they overcame the odds and won a Grand slam title. I read somwhere that Peschke is about to retire at the end of the season, though  |
