Good luck RoRo!!!! It's SO EXCITING that she's playing another full year, and that she's in my country right now!!! And that it's her first tournament of the year!

BUENA SUERTE!!! I can't see Mirkovic giving her too much of a problem- Rossana usually beats her lowly ranked opponents, and her experience is so much greater than that of Mirkovic. I predict a 6-3 6-3 victoriy or something similar, but I don't know what to expect being the start of a new season!

And believe me, if I was in Brisbane, you would not believe that Mirkovic had the home crowd advantage!!!

haha i know! I guess Rossana will just have to keep on playing until the day that you, I and everyone in this thread can attend one of her matches and it would be loader than a football match!!

I remember seeing the pic around the time I joined this forum, so it's at least from 2003 or before. I hope we will get a few photos of her this week, it's been a while since we had some good one's!

Me too!! I thought Yuan was terribly out of form late last year so I don't know if it's good or bad that she just lost the first set in a tiebreak

Probably bad!! Hope she can win in 3 too

I wonder if Rossana will play doubles with a fellow chica this week

Look at this nice article I found. It's from the top newspaper in Paraguay, Ultima Hora. The article is reflects on the top Paraguayan athletes of 2008, and Rossana is one of the eight mentioned!!
