Any Lucic news?
It's been a year since I think Mirjana Lucic has played her last match and she has virtually disappeared since then.
Any news on her whereabouts? Is she even attempting to train and get back into the tennis world?
Such a waste of talent but I really hope she gets her head together some day before it's too late.

According to some people said to be close to her she doesn't want to lower herself to the satellites or challengers and that is why she doesn't play because she is only good enought to play WTA events

I remember she lost 6-0 6-7 6-0 to Tu...probably the weirdest result ever...Im no sure when that was...
Strange I thought about her today...and then didnt bother wasting any more time...

That was in Dothan last year.
She was entered into a bunch of 10K's last year in the US and never showed up. She still enters into 10K qualies, and never shows up.

She's gone, I guess. She had talent but she didn't have "it". She squandered it and she will probably look back on her life with regret and end up doing something drastic, like coaching British tennis.

if that is true then Lucic will never play again, because she has used up her previous fame, and the WTA tournies are unlikely to offer her any more WCs. As far as i remember, she has not played on the tour on any kind of regular basis in four (maybe even five) years. To come back she would definitely need to make some strong showings at the challenger level.
