hi there

i think this is my second post in here, i've become a fan of Jelena last year, i like her very much, she's such a nice girl, i saw her first round match with Mariana Diaz-Oliva at the Ordina Open in Rosmalen....

Haven't been able to post much after my first post in April of this year, but hope to post more from now here

Just to inform you, Jelena will play the Banka Koper Open in Portoroz from Monday, she'll play Severine Beltrame in round 1, if she might win that a match with Kveta Peschke, the no.3 seed or Martina Sucha awaits..

Sadly Jelena lost in the first round of Portoroz ag. Severine Bremond (formerly Beltrame) in 2 tiebreaks 6-7 6-7

, so the slump continues sadly

But i hope Jelena will bounce back pretty soon

I am glad you got this thread going again. I could not find it anywhere. Seems to have been a tough few months for Jelena (and Sprem as well). I am not sure what the problem has been because the talent is there. Thoughts?

Oh don't worry bout keeping this thread alive, i posted somewhere in April this year, or last year, hadn't so much time to come here....

Jelena has talent indeed, maybe the pressure to achieve got her this season, but me doesn't really know..., i am wondering as well what could be wrong but like i said earlier me don't really know...

North as I see we like the same players.
Unfortunately Jelena had to pull out of the qualifying in Luxembourg, because she played in the doubles final in Portorož. She still continues to struggle in the singles.

Yes ur right Slokid, i have it often that a poster of the board loves the same players as i do.

Well Jelena plays with Iveta Benesova in the doubles tournament of Luxembourg and they won their 1th round match yesterday, beating Krizan/Sfar 7-6 6-1, next opponents for the second round are Raymond/Stosur.

Yeah ur right, but i am hopeful to see Jelena and Iveta more teaming up, it's one my fave teams i want to see in doubles...
