I think they do very well.
The top 4 there we may well see in the QF's though Lena D doesnt have a great record at the AO.

i am realli hoping lena d gets a good start to the season and of course i want her to win the aussie open but a QF spot at least would make her happy i think.

i agree with Phong and say that either Elena Dementieva or Anastasia Myskina will win the title. Although u all know i am cheering for Elena. And i would give her the edge to win the title, espescially if her serve is different, even if she just doesn't double fault anymore, she will win. Maria will do well. But she will not win. Sveta will lose in the middle of the tourny and vera might survive one round further. Nadia could fall anywhere from 2nd round to semi. Lena B could go as far as semi, but not past.
I think this will be the most Russian dominated slam ever!
I can't wait!

In general, it's waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to early to make any kind of legitimate predictions.There were no tournaments played yet, so we don't what form they are in, we don't know the schedule... The only one thing you can base your preictions on is the past and that's not a very good basis. But if you do: Nastya will do the best, followed by Maria S., Svetlana.

And no, none of them will win it.
