Maria's.
Maria is on a restricted schedule [although managed to push it] and won Wimbledon and YEC. Also, I think Svetlana's GS was flukier then Maria's. Although, Svetlana was only pipped at the post by Maria and had been ranked higher for the last few months.
Both, but Maria by a little bit.

She has the restricted schedule. She scheduled her season really well
Congrats Maria

Good Poll GoDominique!
I would say Kuznetsova! It was a real suprise to see her entering the Top 5 and winning the US Open.
Sharapova was somehow a great star on the tour with a big interest by the medias and so you read more about Sharapova than about Kuznetsova.

Sharapova I think.
YEC and Wimbledon in her 2nd full year, and with a restricted schedule...

Maria Sharapova definatly. She is under the AER and she has defeated some really good players and is 2 years younger than Svetlana. She has also one many titles this year and been a bit more consistent.
