Okay, here's the word on James Blake: (1) he injured himself seriously when he ran into a net post in Rome; (2) his father died; (3) he got chicken pox. 
All of this happen this summer so James is neither physically nor mentally ready to return to playing tennis. I think he should stay out the rest of this year, train, get back into shape, grieve for his father, take care of his mother and then try coming back early next year. |

Awww man, I hadn't heard about his dad. Poor guy. He's very lucky he wasn't injured permanently in that accident in Rome. Annus horribilis, indeed. Hope he comes back strong.
