1992 Wimbledon doubles players and notes

No qualifying or girls doubles draws. They must not have started carrying them until later. The girls' doubles final result was:

Maija Avontins(AUS)/Lisa McShea(AUS) d. Pam Nelson(USA)/Julie Steven(USA) 2-6, 6-4, 6-3

doubles players:

Colette Hall GBR
Tessa Price RSA
Ana Segura ESP
Shirli-Ann Siddall GBR
Janeth Souto ESP

I was tempted to highlight certain juniors scores in bold and large, but that would have buggered any C&P's later on.

Rollo, go ahead and post whatever you have. If we could only post complete results, I'd be limited to 1989+ and Wimbledon. Everyone else can contribute whatever results they have to add, and they can be combined into a "Master" results list for that slam.

Looking forward to the rest of 1964.
It's too bad they didn't give seedings, or full names. Should we assume those with byes were seeds? (I know that wasn't necessarily the case in later years.) I think it's a safe assumption that Margaret Court was #1, in singles at least. Did the Max Robertson book list any seedings for 1964 in that big list of GS semifinal results in the back?

Keep those results coming. Now, where is everyone else? We could use a few more folks with other resources to add more info.

I'm pressed for time this weekend, but will (hopefully) resume adding my results on Monday.

BIG news Brian-tenniscorner emailed me back and sound interested. I'll gladly give them what I can because all I want is a convenient place to get results when I want them. I e-mailed back asking about doubles and how to get results to them. My guess is they ARE going to want the doubles too

The other slams for 1964 do have seeds Maybe we can recruit louloubelle to get us some Aussie results. Those will be the toughest-as London Times and other papers often had incomplete results even in the 60's. That means an Australian source of some kind is needed.

What fun!
I wish the junior results for players were more accessible - I'm really enjoying those '92 junior results!
I had no idea Rossana had such a successful junior career!
Keep up all the great work! It's really appreciated!
