Doing what so many other players should've done vs. A. Serra-Zanetti. Katya kept the ball well enough in play to win with an easy scoreline.

good thing she won that as now she wont have to qualify for US Open.
her rank of 104 should be enough to get her in directly (well almost guaranteed)

next weeks ranks Jul 18 is the cut-off.

Katya was up *1-0 and *2-1 in the 2nd set

I was going to bet on this match, and when I went to do it, Katya was already up *5-1 in the 1st, and betting was still open

. I tried to wait as long as I could to see the score just before betting closed, and it was something like 6-1 3-3, but I decided not to bet all my vCash. I think that was a wise decision

She's on the Palermo Qual list. Only, should be more HC's events in Europe, esp. when it's about players close to the US-Open Main Draw GS and Qual. Anyway good luck Katya.

Impressive scoreline, even if this tournament wasn't on clay. Katya would probably have done the same.

It's a great win provided you win as well on other surfaces with the same scoreline.
