Well Severine lost in straight sets 6-2, 7-5. Not surprising to me.
She hasn't played well at all this year. I think she should be playing the smaller events though. But I understand why she would want to play in Paris.

If Severine doesn't win this match it would probably be best for her to start playing some lower Tier events.

I hope the injury isn't too serious. Since she made it to a tiebreak in the first set I would think it is minor. It is listed as a left groin strain on the wta website.
