Improving footspeed and footwork with long legs!!!??

So when i was younger (About 12-13) i was really fast around the court, really good footwork too. But now i'm almost sixteen, and my legs are long as, and they take up most of my body. I now rely on a good sense of anticipation to get to balls. Is there any way i can improve My movement , or will i have to wait it out/live with it until i die?

That's the weakest art of my game...my movement is even worse than what the Pliskova twins used to be like.

I have long legs too, I would say try taking quick short steps, rather than big long stompy steps. Also look at the footwork of players like Venus Williams. Here is a video where Venus talks about footwork (mainly for vollying though)...

I have quite long legs, plus a bunch of extra kilos, but thanks to good anticipation and quick reaction I can get to pretty much every ball against a player of my level.

Have you ever tried agility ladders? I find them great for training both for speed and agility!
