During USO in our czech sport papers there were small interview with some Czech players including Lucie so I though I can translate it and post it here
1. Which hotel are you staying at?
It´s actually only second year that I am staying at a hotel as I have 5 minutes from Flushing meadows friends and I have ever stayed there. But this year are we staying with my coach at Manhattan in Parker Meridian, near Central Park
2. Favourite restaurant?
Chipotie, that is a mexican grill, where u can exactly say, what u want, what u want in a bowl or in burrito. We have it right on the corner by the hotel.
3. Favourite shop?
This year I have been just once 5th and that was in Apple Store. I was more in Queens, where I know it better. There is my fav shop called Marshalls for clothing and other stuff
4. Have u ever been to a musical on Broadwayi?
We saw Real Blonde. I was on musical few times in England as also in Czech rep., but here was it totally different. I was very surprised, that people take popcorn to stands and they behave rather like in a cinema. But the show was done very nicely, unbeliavable effects. I liked it a lot.
5. What is the best about New York?
Kind of hustle, that is in new york, u cant experience somewhere else. Its really a city that never sleeps. U go to Apple at 2am and its packed there. But 14 days r here enough for me

I saw the match with Arvidsson, and Sofia was just too consistent for Lucie.

Lucie hits a fantastic winner, and then makes tonnes of UE's. That serve and those groundstrokes are fantastic, and she should probably be top 10 with them, but she's just ridiculously streaky.
