Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers
Nancarrow got beat in Turkey. I think she had an injury last year so i hope she gets her mojo back.... she played quite well at one stage last year. Nice to see her o/s again.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers
Konig was probably one of the best players to draw apart from Qs and WCs. But the field is pretty strong.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers
Imagine if she draws Jarka R1 (if she is somehow able to beat Weinhold)

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers
(4)Sally Peers def. (12)Ashley Weinhold 7-5 6-1
This has got to be her best win in quite a while. Weinhold has ranking of 374.
Unfortunately Sally drew 3rd seed Jill Craybas in R1. Hopefully she can keep it fairly close.

This is encouraging. Weinhold can play well so she must at least be improving a little. Jill is old as the hills but still seems to be playing well so a very tough one.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers
Go Sally. Do your best. Hopfully Jarka takes the tittle.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers
Doesn't matter who you play, 3 wins will do wonders for the confidence. Weinhold a very good player (or was, once upon a time), so Sal will take confidence from that I'm sure.
