Exactly! All the past players seem to want to work for TA, yet they persist with fossils like Fitzgerald who's game was from 30 years ago.
How many of the past Aussie women are they utilising? Bradtke, Pleming, Moulds & Field are the only ones I can think of.....
Past players like Joanne Limmer shouldn't be stuck behind the counter of a tennis shop, let alone the likes of Pratty, etc. She'll end up coaching some US tennis player by next year knowing our luck....

They are also using Jaslyn Hewitt in the AIS now, and I think Tiffany Welford helps out with the QLD NHPA. And doesn't Lesley Bowrey work with Tyra Calderwood and/or Sabrina Xu??

Other than that though Pratty should be the new Fed Cup captain, can you imagine the life and dedication she would inject back into our squad??

David Taylor has far too much to do with the AIS to be 100% dedicated to Fed Cup as well

Once Pratty is ready to return to the tennis world I think she'd be a great fitness coach for some of our players. Maybe Dellacqua or Molik to get them in peak fitness, because Sam has always been awesomely fit. But Pratt was one of the fittest players there was, and such a fighter! Would love to see her in Molik's or Dellacqua's corner

I also support the motion of Pratty becoming the Aussie Fed Cup captain.
