Barbora won her 3rd round match against Iveta Benesova 61 21 ret.
Iveta  . It's bad when your opponent retires, but Barbora seemed to be in control.
This win sets up a 4th round matchup with (unless there is a massive upset)Justine Henin-Hardenne

Barbora did pretty good today. Impressed new people, and kept a
good account of herself. I didn't get to see the match; but things
got pretty wonky in the second set. She was up 4-1 at one point
until Juju smelled DOHA fumes, and took it to another level.
Hope to see Barbora in more Tier 1 tournaments.
A very good showing for the teenager. Too bad she didn't get a
chance to be in Maria's section of the draw, rather than up against
Justine.

Barbora defeated Yulia Beygelzimer 2-6 6-4 6-1 in her first round qualifying match in Miami. She then defeated Gisela Dulko 7-5 6-2 later that day to set up a third round meeting with Ruxandra Dragomir Ilie.
After her great performance at IW, Barbora has cracked the top 100, moving from #116 to #97
