As far as I see it, the outcome of the Lisa vs. Venus match had no influence on the number of Americans left in the draw.  |

Ugh, I'm obviously a huge Chanda fan, but I'm not going to say 'YAY Venus is gone...' For a start I really wanted Vee to challenge, and secondly Chanda has tough matches ahead (esp. the next one v Myskina/Sharapova, and of course Kim in a possible QF) Who cares if she's the last American, I just want her to win!

As long as Roddick and Agassi are still in ... there's little hope to see Chanda ... but thank god they're in the same side of the draw!!!!

She(Serena) doesn't want to fail like Venus. If Venus gets more match play she will be alright!!!!!! I hope Venus gets placed at her ranking in all tournments so the other players will get what they want Venus in her rightful position.

besides...Kim is close to Chanda in the draw (and we all know that Kim has a custom-made leash especially for Chanda  )
