cameback and won from TWO breaks down at 0-3 in the final set and won it 4-6 6-4 6-4 ! :woohoo:

she didnt play her best tennis but god she played with such heart! :hearts:

Allez Amé, she said that she will make some "étirements"(dont know in english lol)will eat and that the match will come so quickly(laughing) that she wont think too much :drool:

Henin tombe Mauresmo

Amélie Mauresmo (N°1) n'a pas surmonté le programme d'enfer que lui réservait la journée de samedi. Après avoir difficilement bouclé 6-4 son quart de finale contre Martina Hingis interrompu la veille par l'obscurité à une manche partout (4-6, 6-4), la Française a été balayée en deux sets (6-1, 6-2) par Justine Henin-Hardenne (N°3).


Mal réveillée contre Hingis, Mauresmo n'a pas eu le temps de récupérer, Nadia Petrova s'étant qualifiée de manière expéditive aux dépens de la Chinoise Na Li (6-1, 6-0). De retour sur le court, la numéro un mondiale s'est retrouvée pilonnée par la Belge. Toujours sur le reculoir, la Française n'a jamais été en mesure de contrarier Henin, qui revient à son meilleur niveau et a impressionné depuis le début du tournoi.

Un peu plus tôt en quart de finale, Mauresmo a concédé d'entrée de troisième manche son service sur la quatrième balle de break obtenue par la Suissesse. La numéro un mondiale n'est pas parvenue à se mettre dans le rythme et son timing s'en est ressenti. Hingis a alors confirmé son break et repris le service de la Française dans la foulée. Au quatrième jeu, Mauresmo a lâché quelques coups qui lui ont permis de revenir à 3-1. Repoussée derrière sa ligne, sans tonus, Mauresmo a multiplié les fautes directes. La Française s'est accrochée et a gagné un point spectaculaire pour revenir à 4-4. Plus agressive, Mauresmo a surmonté les dernières banderilles plantées par Hingis pour l'emporter dès sa première balle de match. Mais la numéro un mondiale n'avait pas les jambes pour inquiéter Henin.


I wish Momo would find a way to fight off aggressive play from her opponents :help:
