50k Olomouc (CZE), R16:

Sofia Shapatava (GEO) d. Cristina Dinu (ROU) 60 62

She avoided that double bagel in the last minute. I bet she just wanted to get out of the court asap

Are you sure? She was defending quarterfinal points form last year when this tournament was a 100k and she failed to defend those points, so if anything she'll sink even lower in the rankings next week.

With or without Dinu the Armada will be there.

The left one is USS Monica, sorry I mean USO Monica and of course the strongest one is USO Simona.

Yes . She is #236 provisionally and an estimated Rk in 11 days would be between #232 and #239 .

Last year, the original cut-off was at #231 and, after withdrawals, #253 got In and #254 as ALT on-site.

In 2012 , cut-off = #227 and after withdrawals -> #237 and #249 as ALT on-site.

In 2011 , cut-off = #232 and after withdrawals -> #241 and #242 as ALT on-site.

So it would be stupid not to go there IMO as there are 90-95% chances to make it.

The more, the merrier. Not sure how realistic her MD chances are, but GL either way!

This is still cutting it very close. Remember, there are still players ranked below her playing this week and next.
