I'm sick and tired of the full results thread... so something new here
At 10K Pörtschach, we have Amra Sadikovic trying to collect her second title in just as many weeks and Xenia Knoll who has to find some form. Plus Lucia Kovarcikova, my favorite Swiss doubles player who never gets good results in singles but seems to love doubles .
Steffi Vögele is playing Bronx where she teams up with Anna C for doubles. Unfortunately, round 1 in singles is almost impossible to win
At Vinkovci, a 10K tournament in Croatia, our IC Swiss Champ 2010, Conny Perrin gives her comeback to the ITF/WTA tour . She is seeded third in singles and doubles and faces a qualifier from the UK in R1. Hopefully, she can keep her good tennis level up..!
Finally, there is a challenger in Bosnia (what a stunningly beautiful country!!!!!), where Nilgen Ahmetspahic was awarded a WC. Unfortunately she drew German 5th seed Anna Zaja in Round 1... practically no hope there... . But maybe she can win a match in doubles
I really miss Stephi Vogt, Nicole Riner and Myri Casanova this week! None of them plans on playing even next week
Good luck to all the Swiss players this week!!!
