Victoria Azarenka
Hey guys want to play a little game???...I will give away my Citizen watch to one of the first ten people who sends me their picture standing with my poster (below). If my coach can find it… you can too! GO! #FindVika#Citizen
Vika Azarenka, Caroline Wozniacki, Ana Ivanovic, Flavia Pennetta, Garbine Muguruza & Laura Robson have confirmed their participation at the moment, but Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova won't be there to defend her undefeated record since 2010. http://abiertomonterrey.com/2014/jugadoras/2014/
But as we know before this happen there will be bigger tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami. Next Saturday's charity match may tell us a little bit more about Vika's current fitness level.
It's hard to imagine a healthy Vika playing five weeks in a row because that's a lot of tennis, but it's even harder to imagine an unhealthy Vika doing so because she's not that stupid, so it will be interesting. Monterrey could be a great chance to get some wins and confidence if Indian Wells and/or Miami don't go too well for her. Otherwise, it could be like Linz 2012 and Marbella 2011 where she plays and does well although there's not much point.
