(just thought we needed something like this if some of us don't want to venture out into the main forum, by the way, do we already have a thread like this? Sorry if we do)

iPhone jailbreaking (and all cell phone unlocking) made legal

Owners of iPhones and other smartphones are one step closer towards taking complete control of their gadgets, thanks to a new government ruling Monday on the practice of "jailbreaking."

This weekend has seen a flurry of activity about digital rights, but the biggest news dropped Monday morning, when the FCC announced that it had made the controversial practice of “jailbreaking” your iPhone — or any other cell phone — legal.

Jailbreaking — the practice of unlocking a phone (and particularly an iPhone) so it can be used on another network and/or run other applications than those approved by Apple — has technically been illegal for years. Most jailbroken phones are used on the U.S. T-Mobile network or on overseas carriers, or are used to run applications that Apple refuses to sell, such as Safari ad-blocking apps, alternate keyboard layouts, or programs that change the interface to the iPhone's SMS system and the way its icons are laid out.

While technically illegal, no one has been sued or prosecuted for the practice. (Apple does seriously frown on the practice, and jailbreaking your phone will still void your warranty.) It’s estimated that more than a million iPhone owners have jailbroken their handsets.

Apple fought hard against the legalization, arguing that jailbreaking was a form of copyright violation. The FCC disagreed, saying that jailbreaking merely enhanced the inter-operability of the phone, and was thus legitimate under fair-use rules.

The upshot is that now anyone can jailbreak or otherwise unlock any cell phone without fear of legal penalties, whether you want to install unsupported applications or switch to another cellular carrier. Cell phone companies are of course still free to make it difficult for you to do this — and your warranty will probably still be voided if you do — but at least you won’t be fined or imprisoned if you jailbreak a handset.

Yeah.

As for now, I totally approve of this. Extreme islamists were going to take over Mali until Hollande sent his troops there. So it's a great thing for now. The power has not been taken over yet I think. Almost all Malian people were crying of happiness, because they have been living a hell these last months. Look, a man stole some food I believe, and well they cut his hand :help: :help: "Steal something, you will get your hand cut", isn't that something from the Coran that the extremists like to apply without any proper interpretation? Maybe I am wrong, but I think I already saw it somewhere.... I don't know, is there any Muslim who could tell me more about what the Coran has said on this subject ? Not stigmatising it of course  It's all about interpretating and that's why I am asking...

IDK, I haven't really looked into it, normally I hate it when big countries invade others so they can set up whatever government suits them. But I haven't researched this one so I can't really comment on why France is there or if they should be there, but I will at the end of the week when I finish my exams. ;)

Stupid reason to ban anyone but at least he is doing something while other two mods don't seem to moderate at all

I went to the doctor earlier this morning and I have a small inflammation on a specific part of the knee. It's nothing too serious but I have to rest and put a special cream on it! No tennis this week :sobbing:

Pla congratulate me for having been banned for the first time on TF ))) Some TF troll were bashing Maria for celebrating too much her win over Venus and i replied that Serena doing her cripwalk after 6-0 6-1 didn't bother you at all .... Result - banned .....

At the same time those who call Errani obnoxious and Masha - Shrieking Razor are safe on this forum

#4,622 · (Edited)
probably for writing "Shrieking Razor" in the result thread not about Maria's match

If you write that both playeres of this match are piece of shit - it's within the rules. If you write that the winner of this match might have problems in her next match vs another player = ban

I do have a sense of humour, you don't. Or at least this sexual puns reserved for 13-year-olds do not appeal to me. Anyway, you are fucking annoying(not that I am not as well but at least it is on purpose when it comes to me) hence I am following Mary Cherry's example of dealing with you. Have a nice life!
Whatever
LMAO at Mary Cherry's example  Do you even realize she doesn't fully ignore me as the other day she attacked me in Interesting Pictures thread ? and we all know what happened before Pop Contest, she was insulting me on twitter behind my back. Hardly the right way to ignore me. But feel free to do so, I won't let myself being annoyed by someone here to the point I put him/her on ignore.

EDIT : Very lame answer "LOL I DO YOU DON'T !!!11one!" if anything, I can laugh about everything including myself, and I can't believe you are actually annoyed by our convo, to be honest, I find it very funny.

They really need to bring in some sort of points system that other people were talking about. Also, members can be banned from player forums so I don't know why they have to ban posters all out instead of just banning them from GM and then giving them a chance at least.

 JoPova : at least it should be taken care of in a matter of weeks :D !

 Lefty24 : knees injury is such a pain  Can't you get a surgery? That sounds a bit like what I have as well !

Guys

I am out of form, but still I totally can manage a bit of running, cycling, and walking for hours without even stopping (despite my chronic knee injury)...
But at some moments (mostly when humidity is at like 90-95% like when it is raining/snowing a lot), breathing is hurting for a few minutes, and I need to catch my breathe so things would go back to normal... I don't even smoke, and I only had to go downstairs for only one floor :hysteric: And I suddenly was struggling to breathe...
then it was alright !

I am often told that I can inhale a bit strongly , and that's because I don't feel like I breathe that well...

:help: I am seeing someone next month, it has been months I booked the appointment, but suddenly I am scared :sobbing: hope it's not something chronic ...
