Thanks to Rollo for originally creating this thread, and for have given me the responsibility of the new thread, that is for listing ladies tennis championship winners by event.
When a tennis player marries I will use both the maiden name and the married name, in chronological order, and I will maintain them in following years. ( It will be difficult with some divorced and remarried players.... but I will try to always use the maiden name and the married name at the time she was playing. )
When a married player doesn't use her married name ( that so doesn't appear in the honour rolls ) , I will use the maiden name only.
Obviously every correction and addition will be very welcome!
I have added the incomplete rolls of Northern California Championships, Northern California Indoor Championships, Florida Federal Open, Tennessee Valley Invitation.
I have added the incomplete rolls of Dallas, Ohio State Championships, Colorado State Championships, Wisconsin State Championships, Blue Gray Championships.

Thanks Mark, I have added all your above contributions.
In Worthing 1935 and 1936 the winner is the same: Betty Soames that in 1936 married John Couper.
In early 1900 we had two mysterious Miss Tripp, J. and M., and at last in Worthing I see that a first name appears: Jessie. Is she that mysterious J. Tripp active also in French Riviera tournaments?
I have added Vancouver Open and the incomplete rolls of Maryland State Championships, Middle Atlantic States Championships, Mason & Dixon Championships, Yonkers, Nova Scotia Championships, Mainland British Columbia Championships.
