...in the process of doing so major strategy tweaks which will affect my shot selection and what the overall portfolio of my game looks like. needless to say, it is a tennis existential crisis what I'm going through the the moment.
after several months rehabing the elbow and finally finding a frame and string combination that allow me to play without pain I've finally settled into an aggressive playing style that allows me to use spin to set up the point then go for the kill with flatter strokes.
The closest you tube clip of a player using the same strategy, spin, and shot selection I could find would be the one above of Kaia Kanepi. Aside from her service stance prior to the toss, we're pretty damn close on shot selection, court position, and the amount of power or spin being put on the ball.
Anytime I feel weary about my game, I watch this clip and remind myself that aggressive doesn't have to be brainless, it can be smart and powerful too.

I have a serve with a lot of effect, with a very good topspin. I hit mostly flat both FH and BH, sometimes with a little spin. The volleys are not my strong point. My best shot is probably the backand. It is really strong and passes near the net, specially, DTL . My forehand...I can do a lot of errors with it, but when it is good, I hit it well. Can someone compare me with a pro player on each tour (ATP/WTA)? My backhand is 2-handed and my forehand, one-handed.

So that's like more than half of the tour - not necessarily Venus Williams.

My game is a work in progress.
My serve has really improved but only flat serves.
Mostly a baseliner but I'm not scared of volleying anymore like I was in the past.
Two-handed backhand for normal strokes, slice and volleys.
One-handed or two-handed forehand (I can switch easily) for normal strokes. But only one-handed for slice and volleys.
Love hitting lobs and angled shots. Tend to go for a little too much at times. Love hitting with a lot of topspin but since I switched to a denser string pattern racquet, I've struggled a little with this.
Prefer to take open stance for both backhand and forehand.
Semi-western grip for forehand, semi-western grip on the top hand for backhand. Of course, all continental for slices and volleys.
Apparently my footwork is good even although I don't think it is. But I probably think that only because my anticipation is so poor. I would know someone's going to drop shot and yet I won't leave the baseline until the ball leaves their racquet. I have slow reaction, that's not I'm scared of the net. So I think that's the problem, not my footwork.
Prefer slower, high bouncing surfaces.
Who do I compare to?
Oh and I'm a "dynamic" grunter.

Cibulkova, except a better, but more erratic, serve. I always go for DTL winners early in the rallies, missing about 30% of them, but getting winners or short ball replies on the rest. Hate CC Backhands though, too flat so I often make errors.
Pretty bad volleys-they go in most of the time, but really easy to get back as they bounce high. dropshots are kinda good, but not really a go-to shot.
Surprisingly I'm actually quite clutch on mps, I don't swing wild errors every time I'm down one, and I actually playing better, because I think 'Shit, I'll lose if this doesn't go in' so I play smarter and focus.
Good movement, but if I'm off balance when a shots on the other side of the court I will run like a baby giraffe before I'm balanced again
