Did anyone here actually see the match? Meanwhile everyone jumps all over Ivanovic, I wonder if she even played that badly or was it simply a good match? Ayumi is definitely top 30 material, always has been but plagued by inconsistency and injuries.
True. :yeah: Ayumi was on the right track in 2011, but then she had so many injuries and retirements from matches....she's a great, fun player to watch, and she's so fast on court.
Morita really has started this year quite well Must have been motivated in the offseason as I'm not sure how she even scraped together the points last year to stay in the top 100.
Actually Morita was playing really well against Serena at the AO for 10 minutes each set. I assume she played at a similar level and it was enough to beat Ivanovic.
