What did you people expect, that a BBB can play error free tennis all the time?
Fact is she can only start playing decent tennis again if she stops ballbashing and working the points more.

True. I hadn´t realised that in 2011 she played in fact like Radwanska or Errani. And her fitness and mental frame is also the same now as then. It´s only her game.....

I only watched the first 7 or 8 games of this and that was more than enough. Not at all surprised Mladenovic won it, she's played some good tennis this week. But what's really worrying is that she wasn't playing well in this particular match (maybe she stepped it up a bit after I stopped watching), yet it was still enough to get a straightforward win over Petra.

Do you even play sports? Stop sitting on the couch and start playing some real sports. Clearly, Petra's biggest problem is her fitness and confidence. Her fitness isn't allowing her to get to her balls in time and hence the errors or the weird shot selection. If you even know how to play tennis or have half a brain, you'd realized that Petra wasn't receiving extremely hard to return shots in the first place.

Take a break and get in shape! Don't come back before the clay court season!
OMG, what a waste of talent, Petra!

No, you were right.
Nothing changed much. Mladenovic was hardly sterling. Competent (in a extremely hit or miss ball basher way). But nothing more. She even got nervous, when Petra got the lead in the second set (as you would suspect), and started to make mistakes. But Petra didn't notice or take advantage of that even.
Petra gifted Xtina her first two service games on 6 DF's, and then couldn't break her back it appeared, so lost the set. And while Petra was up a break in the second set, she had a chance to go up two breaks (triple break point). But of course, Petra let her off the hook, and eventually got broken 2 more times herself to fittingly lose the set and the match.
Hey, good for Kristina.

Well, I can tell you didn't watch the match.
Petra did try to work the points in this match; more so and more successfully than her opponent I may ad (who played a more hit and miss game on serve and ground strokes).
Petra, just has no form and confidence right so. And she can't hit a ball (even one right in front of her, where she doesn't have to move) on the court with any regularity at the moment. Her once vaunted serve and ROS, has deserted her as well.
It actually looks like she hasn't practiced much, and is just waiting for that magical moment (or tournament), when she'll play her way into form.
Sad to see at the moment.

She got rolled by Cibulkova. And the alarming part; that was a former pigeon, who she was 5-0 against, entering the match.
