Match was on Robson's racquet, like I said.

VIP junkballing (some if not most of it unintentional) Robson to death at the crucial stages of the match. Other than that, all VIP can do on clay is crushing weak second serves (much like all she can do on faster surfaces is to serve).
And by a wide margin I might add.

It seems like she is following the trend of having a few Top 10 wins in some big tournaments to make sure the media stays with her hype thinking she is in contention for the top spots and then play like shit for the following months by losing to random journeywoman.

Of course Robson outwinnered Ivanovic, she was trying to blast winners from every positions on court, even some terrible ones It was her best strategy because big flat hitting handcuffs Ana and prevents her from playing her game, and also Robson is hella slow on clay and has to compensate. Ana straight up outfought her in the end, and that's that. The fact that Robson was dictating more doesn't mean anything when she lost.

Yeah, who would say that few months ago? Still, I like Ana's new style.
