The serve isn't as potent/accurate at it was in '08 and her ground game hasn't been quite as tight at this event.
That said, she is moving exceptionally well and I do think her return game is near its best right now.
And as many others have mentioned, the calibre of her opposition this time round has been markedly lower. I don't think we'll get a clear view of where she's truly at until the SF against Li/Radwanska (presuming she takes out Makarova).
:lol: at people seriously trying to denigrate her 08 run. She beat 3 of the players who finished that year in the top 5, AND Davenport and 32-match-win-streak Henin on top of that. Find me ONE Slam run stronger than that in this era.
:lol: @ Maria getting the girls bothered already. Seriously, if you've watched her matches you would know there isn't much to be bothered about, first serve % is pretty dire. She's moving better than ever and that's about it. She'll have to up it another couple of levels if she's gonna beat Li or Aga.
