I've had enough of this rollercoaster.... there is so much "feeling sick" one can take. I don't feel I can support someone who doesn't want to change or help themselves.
I'm not even going to let a loss like this bother me. I've accepted the fact (until it changes), that Kvitova is just not a very good player right now, who's not dedicated to her game or recognizes her challenges.
Some of you may still want to see it/her differently (or think todays opponent played great like the last one). But it is what it is (and a damn shame). Petra's just not even a top 40 tennis player right now.
It's not her team that is the problem, my gurl can't win on indoor hard anymore, somebody should bitchslap her ASAP, i can get over any loses anywhere but indoor
Shouldn't be surprised by this loss, for Petra has lost quality in play, ground game is pure hit or miss. Coaching change is needed here, for there is no discipline in her ground game, a guess where her shots are going to land. Practice makes perfect and it appears that she's practicing poorly to be so reckless and error-laden on game day. Losing to Cibby with breadsticks and now this.....smh.
Congrats to Kristina, an up-and-comer for the French for sure, tho' she looks older than 19. Nice weapons, a damaging serve, nice groundstrokes and court awareness to use the dropper for certain points, taking advantage of Petra's deep play beyond the baseline, earning the dismissal.
Well, you gotta detach yourself a little. It's like being a fan of Makarova, you have to be like, "god, I hope she can string together two good points today! If she can do that I'll be happy!"
