I noticed that Kiki did not have her own thread. But after her recent results I think she deserves one.

Wow, I didn't know she saved MP's in the 2nd set, at 4-5 down I assume?
She is playing a lot better than in her clay slump where she made countless errors and a number of double faults nearing 10. Only 2 today in a long match. Still far from her best form but hopefully it will give her some confidence
Nice to see Kiki winning 3 matches in a row :yeah: Should give her a good confidence boost.
Was worried about this match. Glatch can be a tricky opponent.
Let's hope for a good draw
This is a tournament with top players so we couldn't expect a walking bye. Hopefully she can do better than she did in Rosmalen when she lost 26 46.

She was down 1-4* in the 1st set. Came back to 3-4, but then lost 3-6.
In the 2nd set again she was down 1-4, but this time was able to turn things around and win the 2nd set TB 7-4.
Final set about to start now with Kiki serving first.
MONTRÉAL, Canada - The first round of the Rogers Cup wrapped up on Wednesday afternoon, with a few players coming back from the brink of defeat just to make the second round at the prestigious Premier-level tournament.
Among them was Dutch qualifier Kiki Bertens, who rallied from a 63 41 deficit to beat former World No.3 Nadia Petrova in a nail-biter, 36 76(4) 64.
"In the beginning I wasn't playing so well, but I kept fighting and my level got better as the match went on," Bertens said. "Every day my form is getting better on hardcourt, so I hope I can keep that going moving forward here."
It has been a breakthrough season for Bertens, capturing her first WTA title on the clay courts of Fès, Morocco and subsequently breaking the Top 100 - and now the 20-year-old Dutchwoman matches her career-best win in terms of ranking, having beaten a No.22-ranked Lucie Safarova at Wimbledon.
Next up is World No.8 Caroline Wozniacki. "I've never played a Top 10 player, this will be my first time, so I hope I can enjoy it and play my best."
What Bertens may not realize is it's not only her first time playing against a Top 10 player, it's also her first time playing against a Top 20 player.
