Well, we can't really controll how fast a round will be ended. Like this final was finished in about an hour, but there have been first rounds that needed more than a day to conclude. That's why PYW starts when the qualifiers are placed. And sometimes the tournament ends really early and sometimes it's already weekend before it ends, but I have to admit that it's the first thing that happens more and more (due to the increasing popularity of PYW )

Yes, I do love to play. But sometimes I go to sleep and it's the second round, and I wake up and it's the Final. Maybe delay the rounds like say "Semifianls can't start before friday" or "Fianl can't start before the weekend or something". It will make it so people won't sleep through half of a tournament.

I agree. I often miss half the rounds because I'm asleep or just not on.
I wish Myskina could have taken the title.

Starting the rounds on certain days wont work, because they could just be started at 3am on that day for some ppl and would be finished at about 6am, so lots of ppl still wont get to vote. I say play best of 5.

In response to people saying they missed a certain round, because it's going too fast:
That is what makes it interesting. If we have the same people voting every round, we get the same results all the time. If threads are started at different times, different people can vote and we get different results, making it far more interesting.
Best of five is an idea I am a bit wary of, because I do not think we can get enough people to vote. But who knows..
