Journalist seeking your thoughts: strange to play on 9/11?

Hello, I'm writing a story that will touch on the fact that the tournament ends on 9/11, and I'd love your thoughts on the matter. Did watching the matches (at home or in person) on 9/11 last year feel at all strange? Totally normal? Was the date acknowledged in any way? How do you feel about it this year? I'm interested in all opinions, whether you're comfortable with the scheduling, uncomfortable, or somewhere in between. Please email me by Thursday at kantor@nytimes.com. Thanks so much.

Feels totally normal for me. I think a lot people produce emotion about 9/11, because they think thats how they should feel. I hope they don't do some tacky tribute, but they probably will
