WC for WTA Rosmalen!

Title says it all, Misa recieved a WC for Rosmalen, just like last year

One problem though is that this could mean that she will not be able to play Wimbledon Q, if her ranking is high enough by that time.

Re: WC for WTA Rosmalen!

Lost in her 2nd singles match 36 63 (7-10) against Petra Martic.

Misa has been playing doubles at 100k+H Prague the whole week and I didn't even know She didn't enter the singles because of the Bundesliga, because she would have to play qualifying during Bundesliga matches. She is missing today's match though because of the final in Prague. Playing with her usual partner Hradecka against (1)Safarova/Hlavackova.

Re: WC for WTA Rosmalen!

They won final in 3 sets.

Now she's going to play Nurnberg. Doubles (with Karolina Pliskova) only

Re: WC for WTA Rosmalen!

Why does she only play doubles, when she needs those singles ranking points?

How do you know this?

She couldn't play singles because she would have to play Q and she was still playing the doubles final in Prague so there was no way she would have made it. Qualies already started on Friday because it's the week before Roland Garros

Makes sense.

Still, I would settle for some ITF tournaments to get that singles ranking up. Her doubles ranking is so much higher than her singles ranking that she can easily play almost every tournament she wants, while her singles ranking is often not high enough to get into the Q draw of the same tournaments.

Re: WC for WTA Rosmalen!

I agree, she needs to focus on singles.

She and Pliskova did reach the final of WTA Nurnberg, beat Huber/Raymond 62 76(7) today!

Re: WC for WTA Rosmalen!

Misa won her 1st WTA doubles title today in 4 years (real WTA, I don't count Suzhou last year), beating Olaru/Peer 60 46 [10-6]

Re: WC for WTA Rosmalen!

Nice winning back to back doubles titles 100k Prague and WTA Nurnberg
Really good weeks in doubles, hope she can get some good singles results as well soon to get her singles ranking back up again
