Against Belarus for World Group II play-offs in April.
Belarus with Govortsova and Sasnovich in their team. Sasnovich has really good indoor results. They also won all 3 group ties. Only lost one doubles match against Bulgaria.
Matches will be played on Sunday I think. Good luck
In April against Japan for promotion to World Group II. Tie will be played in the Netherlands (city unknown yet). Which is good I think as you'll have the clay court tournaments in Europe in April/May so this fits easier in their schedule then travelling to Japan during that time.
Japanese team without Date-Krumm next weekend, that does increase chances for Team NL. Doi will then play the 2nd singles match. (Who by the way is a good player as well so definitely not in the bag either)
Indeed wondering who is playing 2nd singles match. If Aran plays it at least is on clay so perhaps she can get back at it but only God knows if she can do so. It's between her and Richel.
Just saw that
I would have preferred Richel. She did so well earlier this year in Fed Cup beating Mestach, Martic and Sasnovich And she like playing on clay as well Not that I seen her often, but Richel to me seems the type of player that loves playing for her country and maybe can give that little bit extra.
But who knows, maybe Aran convinced Haarhuis during training and hopefully she can surprise us
Nara won WTA Rio this year on clay and has improved a lot the last year so it will be a tough match.
Hopefully Kiki's back is 100% ok.
