Wow - for all the upsets on the women's side - the men's champion was a first-time slam winner. Congrats, Stan! Love seeing hard work pay off.

So you're saying one of Benito's clients lost and is now claiming an extreme injury and :brandnewinformationgif:.

Besides, she needs to focus on health and form and not getting taken out by the Dominika's and Sloane's of world and whoever that was who beat her at Wimbledon (no offense to those players).
Thats what I'm trying to say too long ago.
Serena couldnt make trough the quarters 3 of the last 5 slams. Its pointless to focus on her anyhow when Maria wasted many chances against much much worse opponents or just because struggling with herself. People really should get their priorities straigth before personal feuds and obsessions.

The difference between Stan and Maria though, the man wasnt hampered by injuries in his past 2 years. Of course Maria could improve her serving, FH, etc more easily without the needs of consulting a doctor every 2nd week or so. Excuses, i know. But they come handy.

I'm so happy for Stan. I think he really could have beaten a healthy Rafa. Its a shame the injury took away from his victory. After the crap that happened mid tournament I'm really happy with how both the mens and womens draws ended.
