So only 10 points gained from those über-weak 50k tournaments, very disappointing. Of course the draws sucked as well, but if her goal is to be (and stay in) anywhere higher than the lower end of top 200 then she has to beat that kind of opponents. I guess the only good thing about this is that now there isn't too much to defend at once the next year at the same time. She'll surely get to top 200 next year, but from there on she needs much better results to be able to climb further.
Yeah she should be good and lock into the top 300 that if this is her last event for the year with her current ranking she should be able too play all the slams & small events as well so that should help her crack the top 200 or higher if she bring in decent results in the early part of next year, She really don't have no point to defend until May-Oct So hopefully she start next year with an bang
Serena Williams (XVII) | Venus Williams (VII) | Vika Azarenka (II) | Kvitová (II) | Li Na (II) | Ivanovic (I)
If she had won her Singles I don;t think she would have lost this match with Ysa
Anyway, she still benefited a bit from this trip and hope she'll play 1 more tournament before next season but this trip didn't meet my expectations especially Bendigo when I saw the field
