She's on the MD for the 25k in Loughborough, starting next week. Think going for harder tournaments is a good move at this stage. It's good to know she has the Antalya hard courts figured out, but playing against higher-ranked players is probably a better long-term strategy.
10K Antalya (TUR), MD:
(1)Ana Bogdan (ROU) v Sofia Kvatsabaia (GEO)
Julia Wachaczyk (GER) v Deborah Chiesa (ITA)
Ekaterina Tsiklauri (RUS) v Asiya Dair (KAZ)
(7)Ekaterine Gorgodze (GEO) v Barbara Sobaszkiewicz (POL)
I know this is a claycourt 10K, but try to win this title, please!
I know everyone on TR is impressed with Simona conquering Moscow title today, but Ana's performance in Antalya shouldn't go unnoticed, especially it comes on claycourt, perhaps her least favourite surface.
10K Antalya (TUR), F:
(1)Ana Bogdan (ROU) d. (2)Martina Kubicickova (CZE) 64 63
Well done, Ana! Looking forward to see how she does in WTA 125 in Nanjing.
