Da dort aber kein großes ITF-Turnier ist, ist praktisch schon am 09. Dezember Schluss, wobei dort gar keine größeren ITF-Turniere mehr in Europa sind.

Stimmt das, dass der Cut Off 2013 bei platz 277 lag?

Da wären ja sowohl barrois, als auch Schäfer jetzt schon drin, allerdings lag er das Jahr davor wohl bei 221.

Durchaus möglich, weil gerade aus Europa kaum jemand auf Verdacht da mal eben hinfliegt und dann erfahren muss, dass es nicht für die Quali gereicht hat. Dadurch kann es bei plötzlichen Absagen dann Nachrücker geben, die recht weit hinten in den Top 300 stehen.

Ich würde mal sagen, dass man bis ca. 210 recht sicher in die Quali kommen wird.

Ah, ist das die versteckte Aufforderung an höher platzierte Spielerinnen, sich bei den 32 China-Internationals um den Sieg zu kloppen?

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, was ich von der ganzen Aktion halten soll.


Dann sollten sie zusätzlich lieber noch Quality-Points einführen, dann wird der Sieg in Tashkent endlich weniger wert sein, als der in Linz.

Eines ist klar: Mit der neuen Punkteverteilung bei den ITFs wird der Kampf um Punkte für den europäischen Nachwuchs noch einmal dramatisch verschärft.
Da fragt man sich, ob Teil der Überlegung ist, dieverse Kontinente noch deutlicher zu pushen. Andererseits macht es keinen Sinn, wenn diese Damen dann in den Slam-Qualis dennoch wieder von einer schlechter platzierteren, aber besseren Spielerin vom Platz geschossen werden.

Bei einem 100er-Itf bekommt man nun im Halbfinale fast 30% weniger als zuvor und exakt die gleiche Punktzahl, wie bei einem 25er-Sieg.
Die Dimensionen passen einfach nicht, wenn man sieht, wie schwach die 25er oftmals besetzt sind.

Ich hoffe es ist in Ordung, die Diskussion in diesem Thread weiterzuführen.


Edit: Was ich ebenfalls nicht okay finde: Wildcards bei den Slams werden nun 10 Punkte bekommen. Dafür muss eine andere Spielerin fast ein 10k-Turnier gewinnen.

Ich weiß auch nicht was das soll. Ich fand das aktuelle Punktesystem mit ein paar Ausnahmen eigentlich OK. An sich hätte man nur bei den GSs die Punkte für die 1. Runde etwas verringern müssen und dafür ein paar mehr für die 2. Runde geben müssen. Aber ich find jetzt ein Finale auch nicht so viel schlechter, also den Turniersieg, dass da so ein riesiges Punkteloch nötig wäre.

Sehe ich auch so. Meiner Meinung nach hätte man lediglich die Quali bei den GS anders strukturieren müssen und vielleicht bei GS die zweite Runde was runter.

Steinherr kam ins Qualifinale (4 Punkte), während Shakovets in der 2. Qualirunde (1 Punkt) scheiterte.
