Re: Yulia Beygelzimer cheering thread

Yuliya had another horrible draw R1 in Turkey - Krunic, number 8 seed. Lost 26 64 46.....Krunic is in good form after qualifying for US Open.

Yuliya needs some luck with her draws, two v difficult R1 matches vs seeded players in past two tournaments....

Hopefully a better draw next week in the singles!

Yuliya won her R1 doubles match with Zanevska 62 62.....hopefully some consolation this week in the doubles

Yuliya won the doubles title easily, another 70 points, now 137 ranking.

Better draw this week in the singles....good luck Yuliya

Re: Yulia Beygelzimer cheering thread

Yuliya had a great week, making the final ! Beat Savchuk R2 62 63, Mitu in the quarters 76(8) 46 63 after being a bp down to be 03 fs, then in semis beat Krunic 63 63

Lost final to Freidsham 64 36 36, but 50 points and $4000 won. Up to 173 in rankings.

As a result of the success missed qualifying for WTA in Seoul....playing doubles though with Piter of Poland. Good luck!

Re: Yulia Beygelzimer cheering thread

Update: two more horrible draws in Ningbo and Tours and lost R1 to Cetkovska and N. kichenok both seeds.

This w/e Yuliya is playing in a WTA Premier event, Kremlin Cup in Moscow.

Won R1 match vs her compatriot Kozlova, 62 61, very good serving display.

Absolutely!

Yuliya had a couple of wins in singles ( 4 matches ) in the French league div 1, including beating Foretz Gacon, and forged again a good partnership with Olga Savchuk.

Hideous draw this week in Ankara , number 2 seed Sirotkins in R1 , who in fact is now in today's final....however Yuliya won another doubles title with Cagla B beating Danilidou and Krunic in the final 63 63. Another 70 points, up to around 110....

ASB Classic in NZL next week, hoping for a kinder draw in the first WTA event of the year. Then the qualies in Melbourne at the Australian Open. Good luck for 2014!

Re: Yulia Beygelzimer cheering thread

Yuliya won her R1Q in Auckland, beat Dubois ( Can) 62 64. Kr.Pliskova or Vickery next.
Yuliya also in doubles I think

Re: Yulia Beygelzimer cheering thread

She was unlucky as she drew in form and very promising Vickery, lost 6-3 1-6 4-6

Re: Yulia Beygelzimer cheering thread

It was Duval , not Vickery. Duval is in great form, she qualified in Sydney beating Lepchenko in straight sets on the way.

I think Yuliya is playing well at the moment, hideous draw.

Beginning to get paranoid, - hard draw in Ankara, Kr. Pliskova R2 in Auckland and one of the very hardest matches in Melbourne,...despite this YB won sets from Pliskova and Duval....

Here's hoping for some luck...soon!
