There are plenty of suitable tournaments for her in Europe in September, but if she wants to continue with hardcourts only then the choice is more limited. Qualies in Tashkent maybe if she is up to that kind of trip... Knowing her fondness of (seeing her bff in) UK I'm guessing she probably wants to play Shrewsbury and Loughborough instead of the ones on Bulgarian clay. Then an assumed break for a couple of weeks would still leave her 3-4 tournaments to play by the mid of October which most likely means she wouldn't play up to her limit of 16.
In terms of ranking 250-260 is quite realistic by the end of the year (keeping in mind she still has the points of two QF and a 10k win coming off), if she does well then why not even a bit higher. Is AO qualies cut-off somewhere between 220-230? Don't think she will make it unless she wins another 25k.
The next year should be interesting. Other than that Burnie semi she hardly has anything remarkable to defend until the end of May, so cracking top 200 in spring or at least making it to RG and Wimbly qualies should be quite likely.
Btw the new entry lists are out and Anett has currently entered 50k Trabzon (wasn't it named Batman before? ) and Moscow 25k. I never thought she'd want to go back to Turkey again so soon.
I think because of the conflict they moved both events to Trabzon so maybe Anett can play well there They would have had a better El though if it was in Batman
I personally would prefer her to play the 25K in Moscow but the simple fact that she is playing pleases me
I think she likes Turkey (she obviously spent time with Whitt there ) and she has played decently there recently There are so many tournaments that week though I really wish she would play some weaker tournaments though to get up the rankings more quickly but I understand why she isn't
I really am confused why she has played so little lately but her ranking is decent and she seems to finally have gained some consistency so YAY
Anett has withdrawn from Trabzon and is playing 25K Moscow I am happy with this and even though she is only 13th in MD with some very strong players ahead of her, the Withdraw Deadline hasn't come yet and based on just P1s she would be 3rd Seed and P2s 6th Seed Hopefully she can pick up at least 24 points here And maybe some Doubles She is becoming a bit of a specialist and the Doubles is a good warm up for her for smaller tournaments
Podgorica it is, she withdrew from others
So finally after two years she has learned how to try and earn some decent points by vulturing these weak tournaments
Should get a plenty of matchplay from those.
until now Sofia always get very strong list(just before 2 years was 100K) plus until now with ranking she can't even go to MD, but i would love if she play the bulgarian 25k-Sofia and Dobrich-then i will be able to see her-))
