Can you believe Ana stealing a coach from Verdasco? Sweet revenge

Maybe you are right though, maybe everything is just a speculation. Don't know about Sanchez, he seems as a tough but funny coach, but I really never imagined him and Ana together, but who knows, it will be interesting to follow their relationship.

I think he coached Wozniacki for some short period recently, then Petrova and eventually Lisicki which lasted like two days and she fired him.

He was angry at Petrova because she's giving more power to doubles than singles, and that's the reason why they parted ways. With Caro, he wanted of her to be agressive and to hit ball harder, and than he was fired

I'm more excited about Tatjana than about Sanchez, he is a great coach, but I don't see him with her, but who knows.

Re: "Grass is still grass" 2013. Eastbourne + Wimbledon

Not sure how I feel about this, I didn't agree with Nigel some of the time - I think the whole weight loss thing has really harmed her game - but he was good with her mentally, talking to her during matches etc., and up until FO she was beating the players she should have beaten and was pretty consistent.

Don't like Sanchez as a coach, can't see him and Ana clicking. I'm worried we're back to the old days of the blame game & conveyer belt of coaches.

Really worrying times!

Nigel tried to make her game more stable in the beginning, but that was only in the beginning, he started telling her to wear the pants not long after that. FFS, he's not an idiot, he doesn't ask her to push like a moron, it's her decision. She is gutless and that's it. She feels safer when she's pushing. Her shot selection is laughable, she can't read her opponent's serve at all. She's rushing. That's not about coach, but about her. Whose fault is it that she doesn't have a fitness coach and physio? Whose fault is it that she has a schedule like a top 5 player? Why doesn't she try harder on MMs? Why doesn't she enter Budapest or Palermo? She barely played on grass, she can continue a clay season.

It's really crazy to assume that Nigel doesn't see some pretty obvious things, it can't be that we're all here smarter and better coaches than him. There's no way that he knows nothing about her game and tactics. It simply can't be done with her. She lost some weight again, as I could see. She won't hire a psychologist, she won't get any bigger and stronger, it doesn't look like she wants to work hard. So, what can any coach do there? To spank her? To teach her some responsibility and maturity? It's not in their job's description.

She will fire him, however. She's a lazy and spoiled brat, so she hopes that she can buy a coach who will magically fix her game and brain. Sorry, that's not gonna happen.
Never were truer words spoken.

Agree 100%. Great post!

Re: "Grass is still grass" 2013. Eastbourne + Wimbledon

lmfao, this is sooo predictable. she fires a coach, then she decides to stay coachless for another 9 months. She doesn't need to be told what to do, she wants to be her own boss. Nigel said that he knows that Ana should put on some weight, but it's not simple. lmfao, now that sentence finally makes sense. It's not that simple with Ana, not in general. As I said. it's not Nigel's fault, she's become an irrational, deluded, spoiled brat. We all know what happens next. She suffers a severe slump, but stubbornly stays coachless until Gavin or someone forces her to hire someone. Then she works very hard to get to the level she was at with Nigel, but since she can't move to the next level... Well...

I was looking for this. She didn't wait for USO, but the rest is pretty much it. Jecmenica can't be counted as a serious help, so... She'll be coachless for months. Her decisions are so predictable. I don't wanna follow her career anymore, we all know how it will end and it will end ugly.

OP should update the thread title, the proper one would be: Ana is still Ana. The most predictable player ever.

How credible are these tweets? I checked their accounts and they don't come across as very credible to me at all. Going to wait for confirmation from a reliable source.
