Maria is not retiring until she has won the Singles Gold Medal in Rio and a few Grand Slams in Singles & Mixed Doubles.

Yeah, working her ass off to recover from a career-threatning shoulder injury when she already had 3 GS titles and all the money she would ever need only 'cause she wanted...more money.

Go figure.

This is excellent news for Maria fans. I will hopefully be able to watch her for at least 3 more years (bar any more injuries)
