Re: Ekaterina Yashina

I can relate with really everything you've written. The case with me, is that I follow not only Russian, Czech, German, Romanian, Serbian players, but also players from Bulgaria, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Italy, the USA, and it's pretty much a hell to catch up with everything. I noticed that you limited yourslef mainly to Russian/Czech/German/Romanian players, is this the reason?
The problem with me is that I also want to follow a lot of exciting junior players so I also follow the Junior tour
I think I'm a bit exhausted right now, I might pause with this and focus only on the WTA ... but then, I always feel like I'm missing sth and it's frustrating. #controlfreak

Yeah, the player forums have been pretty much deserted lately, lots of people who used to whorepost (like TBE, too - but it's a good riddance in his case cause I can't stand him ) in them just stick now to GM or the Tournament section. I find it weird because IMO the players forums are the most important and the most interesting content wise and all...

Well, my Watches were for those four groups, and I've kept up the interest. So many players are from those for countries, there's no need to follow any more countries in mass.

The only times I really follow juniors is at the Slams, so that makes it easy for me. Otherwise I'd go

Yeah, Eggs is a bit of a character... to put it mildly.

I've seen new faces for individual players like Margarita Gasparyan. If the Russian players would just get it together as a group, maybe we'd see more action in this forum!

10K Karshi.

#4 Katya reached her second SF of the year, after defeating #7 Anastasia Frolova, 61 36 63. She now faces #1 seed and former juniors rival Sabina Sharipova for a spot in the final. Sabina lead 1-0 in juniors play.

A dream came for her to win a medal in the Kazan games. A very nice player with very crazy family.

Baku qualies. Her section:

(3)Kateryna Kozlova v Ekaterina Yashina
Katerina Kramperova v (12)Marina Melnikova

Tough first round. 0-2 against Kateryna. Still good luck to her!
