Yes. I wrote the post yesterday. That was the missunderstanding. Does anyone knows which ranking will be used? If it's this week's, Ana will be #16, which means she will face Serena or Maria or Victoria or Agnieszka. If that's the case, I want Radwanska in Ana's eight. It's time to beat her for once.

The ranking used for IW will be used for Miami, Ana will be No. 12 seed if Vika doesn't withdraw.

Thanks. That's better for Ana after all. If that's the case, I prefer Kerber or Errani in R4 for Ana. R3 everyone but not Barthel, please.

Truth is, I'm not too worried which top 10-er Ana faces. I feel like she has an equal chance against all of them

Re: Indian Wells-Miami

Ana's Miami draw:

1st round bye
2nd round: U-Rad or Beck
3rd round: Makarova/Kuznetsova
4th round: Errani/Lisicki/Pironkova/Hantuchova
QF: Sharapova
SF: Vika

Re: Indian Wells-Miami

Tricky, but not the worst possible draw. Depends on her. If she's in good form, the QF is not out of reach. If she's in poor form and self-pity mood, she can lose to Ula again. She needs to play well from R2, there's no Townsend and Paszek in this draw.

Re: Indian Wells-Miami

Nice draw. We should be ok with it. Ana too.
R1 bye
R2 Ana just has to beat Urszula in two, because that match last year was just... If it's Beck, also in two.
R3 I expect Kuzzy to wait there. Ana should beat her if plays her ok tennis, maybe in three sets.
R4 Probably Errani, but maybe Hantuchova. I would like to see Ana beating Errani! She has the tennis to do that.
QF Sharapova. We'll see abouth that. Baby steps.

Overall, it is ok draw. Go Ana! You can make it far, just play your best.

Or not.. depends on the time she made it official. If its after OOP for tuesday was made, then 32nd seed takes her place and that's all.

Couldn't she have just withdrawn before the draw was made? I mean....

It would be tough, but if she gets there, it would mean that she's in good form because Kuzzy is no scrub. If she's in good form, she can win.

Late withdrawal again, her half is screwed once again. I'm happy for Aga tho.

Re: Indian Wells-Miami

Couldn't Victoria just announced it before MD ceremony? If huge changes are made, than Ana will not have to face Sharapova in QF I think. (If she gets there obviously.)

Yeah, Kuznetsova has been the better player this year.
If Vika makes her withdrawal official in time, it could potentially benefit Ana, right? Would she still be seeded to face Errani?
